Press Release: Terra Formars card game coming this fall

September 23, 2016

Japanime Games and Yoka by Tsume Games to produce the Terra Formars card game this fall!  Based on the hit Terra Formars anime series, the game puts players in the role of the heroes of Terra Formars trying to crush the mutated cockroaches underfoot.   Designed by Nicolas Badoux, the game is an exciting mix of cards and dice that forces opponents to outmaneuver each other to steal the most victory points from their enemies. Yoka by Tsume will release the French edition of Terra Formars to french speaking regions of the EU and Japanime Games will release the English, Spanish, German, Italian and French editions of the game to the rest of the world.

The Terra Formars card game uses a combination of unique dice and cards to create a nice balance of resource management and backstabbing your friends.  Based on the popular anime and manga series, Terra Formars, players take the role of the egotistical heroes sent to Mars to cleanse the humanoid cockroaches from the planet so humans may settle the newly terraformed planet.  The 7 unique dice create the resources each round to buy cards to enhance your character and steal kills from your opponents.  At the end, the player who killed the highest priority targets wins the game.  Japanime Games and Yoka by Tsume will be featuring the game at Essen Spiel 2016.

Eric Price had this to say:”We are proud of our second partnership with Yoka by Tsume to produce this exciting new game.  This game will introduce new fans to the Terra Formars anime and manga world and provide a unique and fun game for our customers.”
