Press Release: ‘Force Of Will’ Adds New Fixed Card Set

Force of Will, Inc, will release the Fixed Card Set -Vingolf 3 Ruler All Stars on February 10.

Many favorite heroes and villains return with this set,  fighting to be Ruler All Stars. The dragon masters of the magic stones have summoned champions of old to participate in a new challenge. Players can choose their dragon ruler, and join the fight to see if they can reach the level of Ruler All Stars.

The set contains 100 kinds of cards including 5 kinds of J/Rulers (new cards), 5 kinds of Magic stones (new cards), 10 kinds of Special Magic stones (new cards) 25 kinds of Additons & Chants (reprints) and 55 kinds of Resonators (with multi attributes). There are 20 sets per case, and 225 cards per set.

This release will follow December’s Force of Will: Lapis Cluster 2  – Legacy Lost.

Force of Will, Inc. has announced an omnibus movie project for its Force of Will trading card game, currently titled Force of Will the Movie.

The announcement was made at Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France. The film will be composed of six 15-minute shorts following various themes, and will be released in 2018.

The six shorts will be:

  • Cthulthu, Director: Shuuhei Morita (Tokyo Ghoul), by Yamato Works
  • Monkey King, Director: Yuuichirou Hayashi (Garo: Honoo no Kokuin), by TWR Entertainment
  • Zombie, Director: Shinya Sugai (CG Director, Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis), by Sublimation
  • Pinocchio, Director: Kouta Morie (CG Animation, Koi* Sento)
  • Raam: The Bridge to Lanka, Director: Veerapatra Jinanavin, by RiFF Studio
  • Dragon, Director, Character Design: Makiko Suzuki (Key Animation, Karigurashi no Arrietty), by GranSky Studios

The popular trading card game was launched in 2012 in Japan, and is now distributed worldwide.

Press Release: LUCK & LOGIC: AID & ARMS

Bushiroad will release the Aid & Arms Booster for its Luck & Logic trading card game on January 6.

This expansion introduces a new rarity to the game: TR (Trance Rare), which also comes with a foil version ITR (Infinity Trance Rare). The new rarity is a game finisher stronger than an RR card.  The number of different “R” rarity cards has been increased compared to previous sets.

This set includes a reintroduction of Monolium and Tritomy, as well as reintroducing the Yellow and Blue popular Logicalists: Sena, Aoi and Sieghard.

The set includes 100 cards total (+2ITR & 3SP & 10SR).  Set rarity includes TR: 2 RR:10 R: 20 U: 28 C: 28 PxR: 4 PxC: 8. Each pack contains 7 cards, and 1 card in every pack will definitely be a paradox card. There are 20 packs to a display and 16 displayed per carton. One of two PR cards (special gate cards) are includes as a box topper, and a Tri-Concentrate, Ashley playmat will be included as a carton topper.

This new booster will follow the Spirit & Signal Booster, releasing on November 4.

Dynamite Nurse Kickstarter

Dynamite Nurse is a deck building game about Nurses in a fantasy world, competing to heal the most injuries to grow your renown as a healer or if too many of your patients die then you will become the Dynamite Nurse, feared for all time.  It is published by Archlight Games who have created many other games like Barbarossa and El Alamein.  Japanime Games is running a Kickstarter right now to for English and French releases of the game.  It was able to pass its goal of $20,000 in two hours and is currently over twice that.  They are offering the game in English and French, pick your language during the survey phase.

There are several pledge levels from $25-$300 that can get you things like play-mats, the base game, promo cards, foil cards, packs of sleeves, name in rule book, bags, ticket to a party at next year’s Gen Con, and more fun.  The base game is $50.

Add-ons for the project include extra base games, various packs of sleeves, and a nurse pin set.

Stretch goals so far has unlocked new art for one of the cards, an extra promo card, and the nurse pin set as an add-on and one free pin.  There are two more announced stretch goals to go, new art for another card and another promo card. Only $12,000 to get them both unlocked.

If you do not already own a deck building game with sexy girls on the cards and want one (and really who does not one) should go ahead and pledge.
