Comic-Con International: San Diego attendees will want to make booth #3713 their leadoff stop so they can be the first to see what’s new from Konami during the world-renowned five-day show July 20 – July 24. Year after year the company is right in the thick of things, offering pop culture fans the latest and greatest from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME as well as other new booth features and fun activities.

Always a fan favorite, KONAMI will once again have the green screen photo booth. A Comic-Con must-have, fans can create their own exclusive one-of-a-kind Yu-Gi-Oh! Token Card. They can choose from 6 different card backgrounds, with Dueling legends Yugi, Jaden, Yusei, Yuma, Yuya or the 2016 Comic-Con International: San Diego logo – suitable for use during Duels!

Looking for a Con exclusive and the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG products? Head over to the booth’s retail counter early in the show to get KONAMI’s Comic-Con International Exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG game mat before it sells out! Available for just $30, this collectible game mat features awesome imagery of Yugi and Kaiba along with Amulet Dragon and Mirror Force Dragon!

There will be plenty of products for sale too. Fans wanting to add to their card portfolio can purchase new and popular Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG products every day of the show while supplies last, including the recently released Rise of the True Dragons Structure Deck, Shining Victories Special Edition and the brand new Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack.

Year after year KONAMI delivers Comic-Con International: San Diego attendees an abundance of new and exciting activities to experience as they traverse the floor of the world-renowned five-day show. This year will be no different in booth #3713 as the company shows off its global pop culture sensation, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG July 8 – July 12.

Pop culture fans from all over the world flock to San Diego every year to take in all that Comic-Con International has to offer. As always, KONAMI is in the center of the action with their personalized Yu-Gi-Oh! green screen photo booth, always a crowd favorite. Fans will want to rush to snag a spot in line to create their own exclusive one-of-a-kind Yu-Gi-Oh! Token Card. They can choose from six different card backgrounds, including favorites like Yusei, Jaden, Yugi, and Yuma, plus new designs that include Yuya and the 2015 Comic-Con International: San Diego logo – suitable for use during Duels! For added fun, Token Cards will be uploaded to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Facebook page after the show!

Press Release: Yu-Gi-Oh! Creator Kazuki Takahashi Makes First Appearance at Comic-Con International: San Diego

Sure to cause unprecedented excitement among anime and pop culture fans, Kazuki Takahashi, the world-renowned manga artist and creator of Yu-Gi-Oh!, will make his first U.S. public appearance at this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego, which takes place July 9-12, 2015.

Traveling from his home in Japan, Mr. Takahashi will address Comic-Con fans about the preparations and production underway for the highly anticipated third Yu-Gi-Oh! feature film, which is scheduled for release in 2016. Mr.Takahashi will also explore his passions for illustration, design and gaming and how they meld into inspiring new ideas that have kept the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand fresh and engaging for nearly two decades. The panel date, time and location will be announced by Comic-Con later this month.

“Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! appreciate just how extraordinary a public appearance by Mr. Takahashi is, and we are thrilled that he has agreed not only to attend and speak at San Diego Comic-Con, but also to take the time to meet with fans and sign autographs, a very rare occurrence indeed,” said Kristen Gray, Senior Vice President, Operations and Business & Legal Affairs at 4K Media Inc., a member of Konami Group. “ Additionally, Mr. Takahashi has provided an illustration of Yugi — the most iconic character from his famous series — for inclusion in the Comic-Con International: San Diego souvenir book for the event.”
